After crossing the Causeway, I was directed to the truck lane by the officials.

Present your Carnet and Passport at the first kiosk. Fill in the entry/departure card. Your Carnet will be sent (by pneumatic transport system - this is Singapore, so everything is beautifully organised) to the customs office.

Take your vehicle to the inspection bays on the right, where you will be directed into a bay.

The customs official will check the chassis/engine numbers against the Carnet, and then hopelessly fill in the wrong part of your Carnet. There must be good money to be made giving lectures to customs personnel worldwide in the correct completion of Carnet documents.

Ask here about your AutoPass card. I think it should be swiped through a machine, to register your entry into Singapore for daily charging purposes. Unless the LTA have told you otherwise earlier.
