Sleeping Policemen
Beware.

In the middle of nowhere, you'll come across sleeping policemen. Or "Speed Brakers" as this handpainted roadside artwork advises.

The ramp here followed this sign by a few feet. Others have better camouflage.

This one was obvious - it was in front of a railway crossing. Others are just spare from a previous life, and are discovered wandering in the middle of nowhere, on the open road.

At 20kph, they'll have your false teeth. At 80, they'll have your axles.
